Last Thursday, while passing by a community center in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago, Derrion Albert, 16, a honor roll student at Fenger High School was catch up in a violent gang altercation that left him dead.

So far, four individuals have been arrested in his death.

When Pigs Fly and Monkeys Drive Cars

Is that a monkey I see ripping down the highway? "No," according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety who accuses the car owner, Dave Vontesmar, of 37 unpaid speeding tickets, which amount to about $6,500. Vontesmar, when asked about paying the unpaid tickets said, "Not one of them there is a picture where you can identify the driver...I sent back all these ones I got with a copy of my driver's license and said, 'It's not me. I'm not paying them.'"

The Arizona Department of Public Safety refutes Vontesmar's claims and stated that they have surveillance of 4 separate occasions where Vontesmar was video recorded putting on either a monkey or giraffe-like mask, while leaving his house for work. Vontesmar also stands accused of having been ticketed over 90 times by photo-enforced traffic cameras, but many of them had expired before The Arizona DPS decided to serve him directly with the remaining 37 tickets.

Incredible Dunk

Incredible. First he sets up the dunk with a bounce off the floor, then catches the ball in mid-air while jumping over someone, and then finishes with a between the legs dunk. "Say What!"

The dunker, Guy Dupuy, is only 5' 9".

I wonder if he was wearing a pair of Reebok Pumps.

It's official the Oregon Ducks have suspended Senior Running Back LeGarrette Blount for the remainder of the season. Blount after Friday's game (1st of the season for Oregon) threw a punch that landed on the jaw of Defensive End Byron Hout following Oregon's 19-8 lost to Boise State.
