Today marks the final day for the showing of the Korean film, “Daytime Drinking (낮술),” at the Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago. This film has been garnering a lot of critical acclaim as a Korean independent dark comedy. Showtime is at 8:00 PM.

Synopsis:
After just breaking up with his girlfriend Hyuk-Jin decides to take a trip to a small Korean countryside town to attend a festival. His friends agree to meet him there, but they never make it, because they’re terribly hungover from the previous night. Stranded and with no money Hyuk-Jin begins to embark on a drunken odyssey back home to Seoul. While on the way he meets bizarre individuals and faces highly unusual situations, as he never refuses a drink.
