Released in March of 1994, the certified gold single, "Back in the Day," peaked at #26 on the U.S. Billboard Top 100. For me this song has always been the perfect track for nostalgia. The way the song flips a sample of Teddy Pendergrass' 1980's single, "Love T.K.O.," is splendid.
